Chairmen’s welcome to Radcliffe-on-Trent Cricket Club

Celebrating its 225th anniversary in 2024, our family-friendly, volunteer-run cricket club is one of the oldest in the East Midlands where we welcome players of all ages, with enjoyment and progress at the heart of everything we do.

We have 5 senior teams offering cricket for all abilities – our Saturday 1st XI plays in the Nottinghamshire Premier League, while our Saturday 2nd and 3rd teams play in the South Notts Cricket League in Divisions A and J respectively. On Sundays we run a Development side which helps facilitate young cricketers’ transition from junior to senior cricket and the longer form of the game. There is also a social side playing Sunday friendlies and midweek T20s, with matches in such enviable locations as Chatsworth House, Burghley House and Holkham Hall.

Our thriving Junior Section offers cricket for boys and girls from as young as five years old up to the age of fifteen and the club has a strong track record of developing young players, whatever their level.  Friday evenings during the Spring and Summer are a hive of activity with all age groups filling the 13-acre property we are lucky enough to own. The bar is always open and the BBQ sizzling, providing sustenance and refreshment for players and parents alike.

The club is ‘Club Mark’ accredited by the ECB and there is an emphasis on ensuring a safe and friendly environment for young players to learn the skills of the game from our team of ECB-qualified coaches.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you are interested in joining our Radcliffe-on-Trent Cricket family.
